Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Meridian mobile application ("App") provided by Vastin Technologies ("Vastin", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. About the Service

Meridian provides AI-based face reading and palm reading analysis performed by on-device artificial intelligence, along with optional features to save your readings and continue AI-based consultations. The App supports multiple languages and both light and dark themes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

  • Analysis features may be used without an account.
  • To save readings or use consultation history, you sign in using Google Sign-In.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

4. Entertainment-Only Disclaimer

The face reading and palm reading results provided by the App are generated by artificial intelligence and are offered solely for entertainment, cultural interest, and reference purposes. They are not statements of fact and must not be relied upon as a basis for any important decision.

The results do not constitute, and are not a substitute for, professional medical, psychological, legal, financial, or any other professional advice. You should not make, or refrain from making, any decision based on the App's output. Any reliance you place on the results is strictly at your own risk.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  1. Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
  2. Collect, upload, or analyse another person's image without their consent;
  3. Interfere with, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App or its systems;
  4. Use the App to harass, defame, or harm others.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its software, design, text, and branding, is owned by Vastin and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. Content you generate from your own images remains yours.

7. Fees, Future Features, and Advertising

The App is currently provided free of charge and displays no advertisements. We may in the future introduce optional paid features or opt-in advertising (for example, choosing to view ads to unlock additional capabilities). Any such feature will be clearly disclosed, and where it involves personal data, the Privacy Policy will be updated with prior notice.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep the App available and functioning but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App, and will give reasonable notice where practicable.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vastin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any decision made in reliance on the App's output, arising out of or relating to your use of the App.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or applicable law. Upon account deletion, your account data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the App or by other reasonable means before they take effect. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Agartala, Tripura, India.
